One of the best museums I have ever been to is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up on rock and roll so it was fascinating to see so many iconic items on display. Not only that but I enjoyed seeing a relatively modern musical genre and cultural movement being appreciated on an academia level. That leather jacket isn’t just any leather jacket, it belonged to Joey Ramone and it’s a historical artifact! So working for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has always been a dream in the back of my mind and I thought it might spark the interest of some of you as well.
The only downside to an internship here is there is no pay, but if you’re enthusiastic about rock and roll and it’s preservation then that may not be an issue for you. They have internships available in many different areas (linked below), however some positions are only available to graduate students so if one of these interests you make sure to click on its link and read carefully.
