Juvenile Osteology Research Lab (Bioarchaeology of Children)

This field school in Transylvania, Romania allows participants to get familiar with juvenile osteology, and show the impact of Medieval diet, pathology, and trauma. The student’s time is divided between lab and lecture, with most of it being spent in the lab with remains. Students will work on an individual or group research projects that will be presented at the Third International Osteology and Bioarchaeology Student Colloquium. It is recommended that applicants be familiar with osteology, and human anatomy and morphology.
