Upper Division Undergraduate and Graduate Students:
What do you want to do after you get your anthropology degree?
A new course, the “Anthropology Career Boot Camp and Internship Program,” will be offered this summer at the University of Maryland, College Park. The program has 2 components: a 1-week intensive course that will help fill-in some of the knowledge and skills that typical anthropology programs do not provide, but that agencies, firms, and organizations wish potential employees possessed and a 6-week internship that will give you real hands-on experience.
The Boot Camp will be held on June 23-28, 2014 and will provide the necessary 45 contact hours required for 3-credits. The 6-credit, 6-week internships will begin on July 7, 2014 and must be completed by the end of August.
NOTE: All students enrolling in this program are eligible for in-state tuition rates!
