Martin Ottenheimer Award for Adventurous Anthropology ($300.-)

Deadline 2-page proposal: 14
April ( noon)

Hello Students

I would like to remind all juniors (and seniors graduating in December) majoring in anthropology that they are eligible
to compete for this
year’s
Martin Ottenheimer Award for Adventurous
Anthropology
($300.-).

This award is named in honor of Prof Martin Ottenheimer,
KSU Emeritus Professor of Cultural Anthropology

Deadline for your two-page proposal is noon, 14
April
, in which you outline your research project that somehow meets the broad definition of involving adventure i.e. off the beaten
track, in which you explore a topic relevant to anthropology. Although we encourage students to travel abroad, those who
are creatively engaged in exploring a research topic in North America may also apply.

Please, check the departmental website for additional details

Cheers

Professor Prins
