Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)

The National Science foundation provides funding to a select group of internship/training and research programs each year to support students selected for hands-on training in various fields.  (There is stiff competition for these student positions, but several of our alums were selected will students here for past REU activities.)  This year several of these projects are very relevant to anthropology and will provide useful training.  Take a look at the following to learn more.  Note that applications are due usually in February.- Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute Analytical Studies Group Intern Program 2014
